Our
partners from Taiwan visit Yarra Valley Grammar |

It was with great
excitement that we awaited the arrival of our partners from The weather in Melbourne was hot with a blue sky overhead as Summer, Amy and Kelly stepped from their car. Ever since we heard of the possibility of a visit to our school, the children were beside themselves with excitement. To be able to meet in person people you only know as a name over the Internet was a real thrill. After introductions we got down to the business of getting to know each other. We shared some work, exchanged gifts and made presentations. The Yarra Valley students were very interested in learning about life at a Taiwanese school. While the touring party met the staff, Amy and Kelly were looked after by the boys and girls from Year 4 at Yarra Valley. |

One of the items presented to Yarra Valley by Amy and Kelly was this poster of friendship and welcome. The Yarra Valley Students really appreciated this work.
In the evening we shared a meal at a Taiwanese restaurant. Amy and kelly were there along with Matthew and Bronwyn from Yarra Valley. This was a most successful visit and a credit to all concerned; particularly the children. |
