Flight Present
Planes:
Planes can be used for many different jobs that include:
Transportation, Defence, Pleasure, Rescue and many others.
Planes have the ability to get to destinations faster that any other tranportation. They cover in a few hours what it took Captain Cook 8 months. Also they can go farther than any other transportation. Planes play a vital role in the defence force (or the army). Having the ablity to manuover and be stealthy.
Perhaps
the most beautiful of moder jets is the Concorde. This aircratf could
carry 120 passengers at twice the speed of sound. All this just 100 years
after the Wright Brothers' first flight of 12 seconds.
The Concorde is now out of service, but those people lucky enough to fly on it will always remember the experience.
But a big disadvantage is while they are fast, they cannot lift heavy weights. Big weights still go by ship.
Helicopters:
Helicopters can land in places that planes can't. And can carry a lot of people to bumpy and rocky destinations. Helicopters can hover, (Stay in one place in the air) unlike Planes. They can also be used in defence forces but can't carry many weapons.
Helicopters are much more useful but cost more and need more servicing.
