Cars

A car is a motorised vehicle that runs on petrol or diesel. It's petrol is like our food. It needs it to run. The speed of the car depends on the type of engine it has and the quality of the road.

Train

A train in a long form of transport that runs on rails. It can carry up to 2000 people. In Japan, they have hired people called "pushers". They cram as many people into the train as possible. Trains are very efficient people movers.

Busses

Busses come in all shapes and sizes. In France they have articulated people movers. These are busses with three and four sections. They mainly use the freeway. Busses are also used for tours and sight seeing. In England, There are hundreds of double decker busses around. You get a really good view from the top.

Trams

Trams are very efficient vehicles at moving lots of people very quickly. Many countries used to have them, but they got rid of them. But then they realised they had made a BIG mistake. Melbourne still has a great network of tram tracks.

Motorbikes

Motorbikes are very efficent vehicles that can go around very sharp corners. They can go over most terrains, but are not capable of carrying heavy loads or large numbers of people.
