Hello boys and girls. My name is Mary-Beth Sullivan, and I am one of the teachers of the IVMS classroom. My hometown in the United States is Elizabeth, New Jersey, which is practically across the river from the Statue of Liberty and New York City! My husband, Dr. Jim Gelsleichter is a marine scientist who primarily studies sharks. We have two cats, Skinner and Manny.

It is so wonderful for me to share this experience with all of you. Making friends around the world is one of my favorite things to do. As a matter of fact, I still know my very first international pen-pal - we visit each other. I hope all of you will eventually share the same experience.
