Communication - Present

Telephone

The telephone allows two people, anywhere in the world to talk with each other. Your voice waves make a metal disk vibrate and then it sends a signal down a wire to a telephone tower. The telephone tower then sends radio waves to another telephone tower. The message is sent through a wire to the other telephone and makes the metal disk in the other telephone vibrate and it sounds just like a voice.

Morse code

Morse code is a series of dots and dashes that make a message.

Radio

A radio is a lot like a telephone but it sends radio waves from a mechanism inside itself.

These are very important forms of communication.
