Our modern world relies on efficient and speedy commuication. It would not be possible for us to do the things we do without modern communication. For example, I have just used the Internet to send a message instantly to Taiwan and America.

Here are some types of communication.

Telephones

Telephones are Phones that people use for calling others from home. These have been with us for about 100 years.

Mobile Phones

Mobile Phones are Phones that you can take practically everywhere with you for calling friends and family from most spots in the world.

Pay Phones

Many people use pay phones to communicate to people when they don't have their mobiles on them.
Email

Email is another of the very popular way of Communicating to others that use the Internet.

Computer

A computer is perhaps the most modern of communication devices. Nearly every part of our lives is controlled to some level by a computer. It is hard to imagine our world without them.

Letters

Many people Communicate to others by writing letters. This is very personal, but it is also slow.

Sky Writing

If your lucky you might have a plane that will be able to write in the sky. But that's very unlikely.

Carrier Pigeons

Some people have Pigeons that they use to send messages to others.

Courier

Couriers deliver packages and information from building to building.

Television

This allows images and sound to be transmitted immediately to anywhere in the world.

So you can see, in our modern world there are many ways to communicate to others.
